N-Dubz star Dappy has split from the mother of his children

The rapper ' who has sons Gino, two, and three-month-old Milo with long-term girlfriend Kaye Vassell ' has revealed he is currently single but sees his boys as often as possible and is already trying to instil a sense of responsibility in them.

He said: 'My baby is good but me and the mum split up. But I'm seeing the kids twice a week and I'm giving them the life I never had.

' can't let them run riot so I'm making them know things and, like, do chores. Not chores exactly, but just showing them how to have respect.'

Despite the break-up, Dappy ' who separated briefly from Kaye last year amid allegations he had cheated on her ' is not too upset and has already lined up a date with someone else.

Asked about his short-term plans, he told Q magazine: "I've got a date. A beautiful lady from Liverpool that I'm going to take to a Chinese restaurant in London's West End. Now she is peng. Peng means fit, hot, sexy. Good-looking.'
